MILDRED PAULINE HUTTON ROBERTS ~ Class of 1984
April 15, 1966 - September 28, 2018



Pauline Roberts was just 52 years old when she passed away September 28, 2018. She was born April 15, 1966 to Ruby and Larry Hutton in Richland.

She lived in the Tri-City area most of her life. Pauline was one of a kind with a heart of gold.

Once she graduated from Richland High School with the Class of 1984 she started working for a chemical company and worked there for 34 years. She was a Rock Star at her job.

Pauline became a loving mother to Courtney in 1988. They had a very special bond and were best friends. Pauline married her soul mate Jim Roberts on December 7, 1991. Jim was the love of her life; their love was a beautiful thing. They completed each other. Jim was told by his father-in-law when he asked to marry Pauline that he had better take good care of his girls and he always has! Pauline loved every minute of their 27 years together. They loved watching NASCAR together.

She adored her grandsons, Kingston and Jaxson; they lit up her world. She loved to spend time with them. She loved all babies. She loved to work in her yard and planting flowers. She was a wonderful, beautiful soul that would do anything for anyone. She enjoyed trips to the beach with her family, going on adventures to the casino, the outdoors and camping trips. She loved to spend time with her whole family.

When her mother-in-law became ill she moved in with Jim and Pauline. Bev was a second mother to Pauline. Pauline became Bev's caregiver and loved her until she passed away.

Pauline was a cancer survivor. She was a survivor. She was a fighter. She was cancer free for 4.5 years. Ove the last two years she encountered other medical issues.

She was the most wonderful, stable, dependable, loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt in the whole world and is now in Heaven.

Pauline is survived by her husband, Jim Roberts; her daughter, Courtney (Steven); her grandsons, Kingston and Jaxson all of Kennewick; her sister, Karla Hutton Short ('88) of Kennewick; her brother, Bill ('85) (Jacki) Hutton of Walla Walla; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Larry Hutton; step-mother, Carol Hutton; grandson, Jameson; and her in-laws, Beverly and John Misner.
